Competition Bureau Files Charges

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 17, 2009) -

Brainhunter Inc. ("Brainhunter" or the "Company") (TSX:BH) announced today that the Competition Bureau has charged the Company, one employee and one former employee under the Competition Act. The charge stems from a Joint Venture bid submitted in October 2005 to Transport Canada, where Brainhunter was one of several sub-tier vendors to the Joint Venture. Brainhunter's primary involvement was the submission of approximately 9 resumes to the Joint Venture. The Bid was never won by any member of the Joint Venture.

The Chairman and CEO of the Company stated, "We take these allegations very seriously. The Company has conducted its own internal investigations since it became aware of the allegations and is confident neither the Company nor its employees are guilty of any wrongdoing.
