HIGHLIGHTS

All  Star Minerals plc ("All Star" or "the Company"), the Swedish focussed uranium exploration and
development company, is pleased to announce that a radon survey has been completed at  its  Gilpas
uranium  project. The results will enable the Company to identify anomalous zones with a  view  to
drill testing in the fourth quarter of 2009.

A  total of 192 sensor cups have been placed at a depth of 50 centimetres in the glacial till soil
at  Gilpas  along 7 parallel gridlines at c.25 metre intervals along each line, with a  100  metre
distance between the lines.

The lines have been set at a North-West/South-East direction, so as to be in line with the glacial
ice flow carrying the boulders that returned up to 29% uranium in 1981.

The  sensor cups will remain in the soil for at least 30 days before being collected and sent  for
analysis  at  the  Alpha Track laboratory in Vancouver. It is anticipated that  results  from  the
laboratory will be returned by the start of the fourth quarter.

SIGNIFICANCE OF RADON GAS

Radon  gas  is produced as a decay product of uraniferous minerals. It is very mobile  and  passes
easily  through  fractured rock and into the soil cover. Positive results from  the  radon  survey
undertaken  at  Gilpas  will give substantial support to the concept that  the  project  may  host
uranium mineralization.

THE GILPAS URANIUM PROJECT

The  Gilpas uranium project comprises two contiguous licences that cover a total area of 51 square
kilometres. Gilpas is located in the Arjeplog Uranium District, and is situated 10 kilometres east
of  the  Pleutajokk  uranium deposit, where a resource was discovered in the late  1970s  with  an
inferred  resource  of  over 1,500 tonnes of U3O8 with a cut-off grade of 500  parts  per  million
uranium.

CONRAD WINDHAM, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, SAID:

"Since  taking the position of CEO at All Star, ensuring that the Company returns to its  strategy
of  uranium  development has been high on my agenda. Having now resolved the  Company's  financial
position,  I  am pleased that we have been able to complete a radon survey at the Gilpas  project,
and I look forward to receiving the results of this in due course.

The near-term focus for the Company is the development of Gilpas, which has generated a number  of
positive  indicators to date. In 2007 we undertook scintillometer profiling on  the  project  that
confirmed the presence of an anomalously radioactive zone in excess of 200 counts per second, with
one  hole  recording up to 1,150 counts per second. This, coupled with the two high-grade boulders
discovered in 1981, of which one returned a grade of 29% uranium, along with the project being  in
close  proximity  to  the  Pleutajokk and Skuppesavon uranium deposits,  gives  us  reason  to  be
cautiously optimistic as to the potential of Gilpas.

If  the  results  of  the radon survey are favourable, then we will seek to  commence  an  initial
drilling campaign in the fourth quarter."
