Compliance Resources Acquires Majority Ownership of E.S.S.X. Canada

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 4, 2007 -- Compliance Resource Group Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CPLE) announced today that it has acquired more than 90% of E.S.S.X. Canada Inc. The acquisition provides the company with the opportunity to introduce E.S.S.X. Canada's innovative energy-management system to the U.S. market.

"Our majority purchase of E.S.S.X. provides us with a tremendous opportunity," says Edward Herbert, President and CEO of Compliance Resource Group Inc. "E.S.S.X. has established a major presence in Canada with its energy-management system. Through this acquisition, Compliance Resource Group Inc. now has the right to market this system in the U.S. Given the emerging marketplace for green technologies, the timing couldn't be better for us."

E.S.S.X. Canada specializes in developing energy-management systems which not only control demand, but also generate occupancy profiles of residential and commercial buildings to enable owners to make better decisions when replacing existing central plant facilities. This business model is an ideal complement to Compliance Resource Group Inc.'s strategy.

About Compliance Resource Group Inc.

Compliance Resource Group Inc.'s focus is on introducing performance-related technologies designed to manage energy consumption and control demand. The Compliance Resource Group Inc.'s product line consists of various technologies that not only have the capability of controlling energy demand but can also be the foundation for reconfiguring base building systems. These technologies can substantially change the way building systems are installed and operated (e.g. domestic hot water, hallway ventilation, in-suite heating/cooling, etc.).

The foundation of both the Compliance Resource Group Inc. and the E.S.S.X. programs is SensorStat®, an advanced direct digital control unit designed to reduce energy waste in-suite by controlling HVAC and automatically setting the temperature to an energy saving level (setback) while the room is unoccupied. When SensorStat® senses that a room is not occupied, it adjusts the HVAC, allowing the temperature to drift to a pre-selected higher or lower energy level, depending on the season. If the room remains unoccupied for more than 15 hours, the temperature is further adjusted. Once the room is again occupied, SensorStat® gives back control to the HVAC system to re-establish the occupant-selected temperature.
