Con-way Truckload Driver Shows Support for America's Wounded Warriors via 'Hats for Heroes'

JOPLIN, MO and FORT SAM HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - December 13, 2010) - Jorge Senquiz and John Wolf, employees of the Warrior and Family Support Center, unload boxes of donated hats earlier this month for wounded warriors. Con-way Truckload shipped more than 750 hats from donors in Nebraska for wounded service members who need protection from the sun. Professional driver Bill Compton, 72, volunteered to drive the donated hats to Fort Sam Houston. He was grateful for the opportunity to do something for service members. "I think it's a great thing to do," said Compton. "I don't think we can do too much for our wounded service members."
