SAINT-JÉRÔME, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 10, 2014) - Canada Economic Development
The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Conception Génik Inc. has been granted financial assistance for the acquisition of equipment that will help the firm improve productivity.
This assistance has been awarded in the form of a $325,000 repayable financial contribution through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
- The investment will enable Conception Génik to purchase new equipment that will help it diversify the size and type of the machined parts it produces and increase the speed of its machining operations.
- Conception Génik currently serves customers primarily from the automotive sector. With this project, the company hopes to be in a position to expand its services to the aeronautics and mining industries.
