Concetto® by CaesarStone Reception Expected to Sparkle and Shine as Much as the Surface Art Itself

VAN NUYS, CA--(Marketwire - September 10, 2009) - On Thursday, September 24, 2009, the Los Angeles division of CaesarStone will host a reception featuring an exhibition of Concetto Surface Art. The event will be held at H. Studio in Sun Valley, CA from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Cocktails, hors d'oeurves and a spiritual adventure on Concetto is all on the agenda for this informative event.

"We are hosting a night of celebration on the concept of our Concetto semi-precious stone art collection," said Dana Parker, Los Angeles division manager. "We wanted to present the Concetto Surface Art Collection and inspire our design professionals with its infinite design possibilities."

Concetto Surface Art is a hand-made surface created from the semi-precious stones. It takes one week to embed each of the stones in the surface by hand. The result is a stunning and unique pattern with the one-of-a-kind quality of a piece of art. The beautiful surfaces can be used in both commercial and residential settings.

During the reception, Shannon Leonard, an expert in the study of crystals and rocks will give a presentation on the healing properties, history and interesting trivia related to the specific stones that make up Concetto. The lecture's purpose is to demonstrate how Concetto is not only beautiful on the outside, but is also powerful and mystical on the inside.

The renowned artist and owner of H. Studio, Shlomi Haziza, will be the host of the evening. He will also lead a visitor and gallery tour to introduce various pieces from his studio, particularly those that use Concetto. Haziza has incorporated the semi-precious stone surfaces in many of his acrylic furniture designs. To see these beautiful, yet utilitarian pieces, as well as the showroom, go to
