Condor Airlines Extends Summer Season 2016 in Baltimore


FRANKFURT, GERMANY--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2015) - Passengers from the greater Baltimore/Washington region will soon have the option to start their journey across the pond starting in May 2016. Condor Airlines will offer an extended season between Baltimore/Washington (BWI) and Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) in summer 2016.

Condor's summer 2016 season will start on May 13, 2016 with three weekly nonstop flights to Frankfurt, Germany. Compared to 2015, this extension adds almost eight weeks of additional transatlantic service to the BWI airport.

The fleet of the airlines in the Thomas Cook Group comprises 91 modern and environmentally friendly aircraft, of which 42 aircraft are in the Condor fleet: 9 Airbus A320s, 7 Airbus A321, 13 Boeing 757-300s and 13 Boeing 767-300s. The aircraft are maintained by the airline's own technical operations. Condor is enjoying great popularity among German people and can refer to itself as "Brand of the Year 2015". This is the finding of a ranking carried out by the market research institute YouGov on behalf of the German business newspaper Handelsblatt, based on 700,000 online surveys. In the "Mobility" category, Condor achieved very good survey results. The annual "Brand of the Year 2015" distinction awards prizes to the strongest brands from various industries from a consumer viewpoint.
