Condrey Corporation Announces Kanaka for Active Directory

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - May 18, 2011) - Condrey Corporation announced today, at the Microsoft Tech·Ed North America conference, the immediate availability of Kanaka for Active Directory, an identity-based product that enables flexible single login integration between Mac OS X workstations and Microsoft networks. The new product is an addition to the popular Kanaka version for Novell eDirectory.

Kanaka allows Mac users to authenticate to Active Directory with a single password through either a plug-in or a client. Kanaka, working through Active Directory, then automatically mounts all of a user's network storage, including home folder and all group home folders of which a user is a member -- no matter where these folders are located on the network. Unlike some competitive solutions, Kanaka does not require extending the Active Directory schema.

System Requirements
Kanaka for Active Directory is supported on Mac OS X computers with versions 10.4 and higher. The Kanaka engine can be hosted on a Microsoft Windows Server 2008, or on a Microsoft Windows 7 workstation.
