Conference on Future Development of NAFTA Surface Freight Transportation: Infrastructure and Operations II

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 20, 2008) - Future Development of NAFTA Surface Freight Transportation: Infrastructure and Operations II
Canadian and U.S. governments are investing heavily in infrastructure programs and are developing policies to enhance transportation efficiency. However, there is arguably some scope to do better, particularly with respect to building capacity and moving freight that we depend on.

On Oct. 24th, 2008 at MacEwan Hall, University of Calgary Campus, 2500 University Drive NW, Calgary, Alberta, industry leaders, academic experts and government representatives will gather to discuss the challenges of developing infrastructure and moving freight in North America. Additional details (e.g., conference program and registration) can be found by contacting the meeting's principle organizers: the Canadian Transportation Research Forum (www.ctrf.ca), and The Van Horne Institute (www.vanhorne.info).
