At the same time, the congregation will also hold a raffle for the chance to win a fabulous prize: A 7-day, 6-night stay in a 3-bedroom condo in Tahoe Village, NV. The condo accommodates eight and can be used 3/31/11 - 4/1/12, excluding the week of Dec. 25 - Jan. 1. Flights not included. "We expect the silent auction and raffle to be a lot of fun and to make for some great deals on items for the winners," said James Grant, silent auction chairman and Temple board member. "We are incredibly thankful to all our donors who are businesses, educational institutions, and individuals located in a range from Topeka to Missouri. Their support is a collective gesture of extraordinary generosity and community-building which is consistent with the values we emphasize at B'nai Jehudah."

The silent auction and raffle are being held in conjunction with the Jewish holiday of Purim. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Proceeds from the events will benefit the educational and community services programs of The Temple.
