Congressman Rick Boucher to Keynote Broadband Policy Summit III

ARLINGTON, VA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 28, 2007 -- Congressman Rick Boucher, a member of the House Energy & Commerce Committee and Co-Chair of the Congressional Internet Caucus will keynote Pike & Fischer's Broadband Policy Summit III: Broadband Full Steam Ahead (www.broadbandpolicysummit.com), at The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, Arlington, VA, June 7-8, 2007.

Congressman Boucher has been a leading advocate for the reform of federal telecom laws. He is the author and sponsor of laws allowing commercial traffic on the Internet, of the first Satellite Home Viewer Act, and of the first bills enabling telco/cable video competition. He is a leading voice in the net neutrality, universal service reform, broadband deployment, and intellectual property debates now raging in Congress and the marketplace.

During the two-day Summit, business and government leaders will define and debate the trends, issues and problems shaping policy decisions that will foster or inhibit the high-speed Internet, voice-over-IP, and IP video sectors.
