Connected Car Leader Zubie Adds New SVP as Company Growth Continues

Pragnesh Shah Joins Zubie as SVP of Customer Experience & Operations as U.S. and Global Demand for Smart Car Solutions Increases

CHARLESTON, SC--(Marketwired - Feb 17, 2015) - Zubie, a leading connected car company, continues to secure a strong foothold in the expanding connected car space with new marquee partnerships and strong quarter-over-quarter growth. To support customer adoption and growth, the company announced today the addition of Pragnesh (Prag) Shah as Senior Vice President of Customer Experience & Operations. This news follows the company's recent move to Mt. Pleasant from Sullivan's Island as the company continues to expand.

"The addition of Prag along with our continued growth is setting the stage for Zubie to deliver the best connected car solution to growing national and international markets," said Tim Kelly, CEO of Zubie. "We are experiencing increased momentum, at home and abroad, through several strategic enterprise partnerships and via direct channels to small businesses and consumers alike. This momentum is driving growth of our internal operations and a recent move to larger offices at our Charleston, SC headquarters."

At Zubie, Prag will head up Zubie's overall customer experience, operations, and entry into several international markets. Most recently, he was President of Global Consumer Markets for Rosetta Stone, where he led the global P&L, marketing, sales, and operations with offices in London, Munich, Tokyo, Seoul, Sao Paulo, and Washington, D.C. While at Rosetta Stone, he helped drive the shift to digital subscription services, and launched new business models in Europe and Asia. Prior to Rosetta Stone, he was VP & GM of Online Channels and User Experience at Network Solutions (sold to Web.com), and has held several strategic and operational executive positions at Sprint Corporation.

Zubie is scaling and enlarging its operations as a mobile and cloud-based connected car company with continued expansion in software development, sales, marketing and operations. The company has already added over a dozen positions in 2014 and expects to double its size in the next year. Zubie continues to build B2B2C enterprise relationships in the U.S. and abroad, and has already launched partnerships with major industry players including Telefonica, Progressive Insurance, and Best Buy.

The expansion of Zubie's rapidly growing team with a key global operations and P&L leader, coupled with a growing presence in the U.S. and global markets, will enable Zubie to continue to deliver the best solution in the quickly developing connected car space, especially within its fastest growing segment -- "aftermarket" solutions coupled with cloud-based innovation.

"It's evident that Zubie is a leader in the ever expanding connected car solutions space," said Prag Shah, Senior VP Customer Experience. "I'm delighted to be part of the Zubie team and work closely with our U.S. and global partners in the auto services & dealers, insurance, mobile operators, and auto OEM sectors."
