Connor, Clark & Lunn TIGERS Trust-Wind-Up Proposal For Connor, Clark & Lunn TIGERS Trust

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 13, 2005) - The Board of Directors of Connor, Clark & Lunn Capital Markets Inc. as manager of Connor, Clark & Lunn TIGERS Trust (the "Trust") (TSX:CCT.UN) today announced that it has authorized a proposal to wind-up the Trust by liquidating its assets and terminating the Trust on December 15, 2005 prior to the Trust's scheduled December 15, 2009 termination date. A special meeting of unitholders has been called and will be held on or about November 30, 2005, at which unitholders will be asked to vote upon a special resolution to approve the winding up of the Trust. Details of the proposed winding-up will be outlined in a management information circular to be prepared and delivered to shareholders at the beginning of November 2005.

The Manager has determined to submit this proposal for consideration by unitholders because at the Trust's current net asset value, it is becoming uneconomical to unitholders to continue to operate the Trust and pursue its investment strategy. If the special resolution is approved by unitholders, the assets of the Trust will be liquidated and the proceeds of the sale of the Trust's assets (net of any liabilities and expenses) will be distributed to unitholders on or about December 15, 2005.
