Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc.: Exploration Results on Mann Lake Uranium Project, Athabasca, Saskatchewan

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 12, 2005) - Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ABN) (Abaddon) announces that the Company has received final compilations and interpretations of the detailed gravity survey completed on its Mann Lake property, eastern Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan.

The Mann Lake project is located approximately 10 km northeast and on strike to the 2002 Cameco Corp.'s discovery of the Millennium Zone (34 million pounds U3O8 @ a grade of 2.87% has been reported in Cameco's annual report, 2004). Also of particular interest is the Cree Lake Extension B-1 conductor target (Cameco) that has been traced in a north-northeast trend immediately west of Abaddon's Mann Lake project and has been found to be associated with a prominent thrust fault associated with favorable alteration in sandstone and minor uranium mineralization.

The objective of the 2005 gravity survey was intended to map any faults or alteration zones extending through the 600 metre thick Athabasca Group sandstone column and particularly any features of this type which may be related to the EM conductor signatures noted in the 1999 reconnaissance TEM survey. The successful gravity coverage has mapped 5 possible reactivated basement faults within the property boundaries. These faults are represented by short wavelength gravity lows caused by brecciation and possible hydrothermal alteration effects extending through the 600 metre thick Athabasca sandstone.

Additionally, gravity models suggest that Wollaston Group metasediments could be present as a wedge overlying the Archean basement granite gneisses in the central part of Abaddon's claim block. Some conductive responses, which were mapped in the Marean Lake area (centre of the Mann Lake property) in the 1999 reconnaissance TEM survey conducted by Uranium Power Corporation, could be associated with these metasediments, if present, and may represent graphitic basement conductors.

The latest gravity survey data demonstrates to the Company that this is a cost effective means of generating prospective drill targets in the Athabasca Basin setting.

Consolidated Abaddon is now preparing for a follow-up winter 2005 - 2006 exploration program on its Mann Lake project, which is anticipated to consist of additional detailed gravity coverage, with closer line spacing of the 4 km long aeromag depression in the vicinity of the Marean Lake conductors. It is also suggested that a detailed moving loop TEM profiling be carried out to confirm and further define the possible basement conductors in the area of Marean Lake. It is anticipated that this detailed geophysical work will help further define and exact the locations of the drillable targets that are present.
