Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc.: Ground Exploration Program Begins on Labrador Uranium Properties

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 19, 2005) - Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ABN) (the Company) announces that it is now mobilizing a geological team onto its Gabbro Lake and Sims Lake uranium properties located in western Labrador to conduct surface geophysics, rock sampling, and a detailed prospecting program for the beginning of the fall-winter 2005/06 planned exploration program. These properties cover parts of the known Sims Formation where uranium was discovered near the Sims Knob Lake Group Unconformity in the early 1980's. Exploration work in the 1980's consisted of prospecting, soil sampling, and an airborne radiometric survey. Numerous uranium bearing graphitic pelitic boulders were located on the Company's Gabbro Lake property with grades up to .24% U3O8. No further follow-up work was undertaken on these anomalies due to collapsing U3O8 prices. The Trans Labrador Highway transects the area.

As announced in a July 2005 News Release, the Company contracted Aeroquest Ltd. to carry out an airborne geophysical survey consisting of electromagnetics, magnetics, and radiometrics over its Gabbro Lake and Sims Lake properties. This survey was designed to identify radiometric anomalies, that may reflect uranium bearing boulders or bedrock sources of uranium, as well as bedrock conductors that could be associated within gabbroic rock types. The magnetic data is being used to identify lithologies and intrusives of the Knob Lake Group unconformity.

The airborne survey has now been completed and the Company is very pleased with the initial information it has received to date. From past exploration work in 1980, uranium-bearing boulder trains are known to occur on the two Consolidated Abaddon claims. These boulders were graphitic shists and contained up to 0.2% uranium. U3O8 in soil anomalies (+1 km long) appears to relate to the unconformity between the Sims formation and the Knob Lake Group. Depths to the unconformity are less than 200 metres. The latest airborne survey results indicate at least eleven (11) priority radiometric anomalies. All of the anomalies will be ground checked at this time. One of the high priority airborne radiometric anomalies is associated with a long conductive trend (2 km) that may reflect dispersion from source or sources within the conductive trend.

Also of interest are a number of conductors believed to be associated to a long northeast trending gabbro sill. In the area of the anomalies, the sill appears to thicken and the magnetic patterns within this thickened portion of the gabbro rock type are disturbed. This may represent a feeder zone for the main sill and conductors may reflect sulphides that have accumulated near a feeder zone to the sill. These targets may represent attractive targets for nickel and copper deposits.

It is Consolidated Abaddon's intention to carry out a detailed work program on all of the priority anomalies at this time, with the objective of implementing a diamond drill program in the winter of 2005 / 2006. The Company has an Option Agreement in place with BHP Billiton, whereby, BHP Billiton can earn a 51% interest in the properties by spending $1.3 million over 3 years. This Option Agreement relates to all non-uranium metals. The mobilization of the crew and the cost of this program will be shared with Consolidated Abaddon's option partner BHP Billiton.
