Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc.: Ground
Exploration Program Begins on Mann Lake Uranium
Project, Athabasca, Saskatchewan

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - March 17, 2005) -
Consolidated Abaddon Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ABN) (Abaddon)
announces it has now initiated an in field work program on its Mann Lake
property, Athabasca, northern Saskatchewan. The Mann Lake property is
located approximately 15 km to the south west of the McArthur River
Uranium Mine and adjoins the Cree Extension Joint Venture (Cameco, UEM,
Cogema, JCU Canada) on its southern boundary. Cameco Corporation
reported the Millennium discovery zone in 2000 on the Cree Extension
situated approx. 10km to the south west of Abaddon's Mann Lake property,
with one intersection reporting 4.3% U3O8 over a length of 30 metres at
a depth of approx. 600 metres.

Basement lithologies on Abaddon's Mann Lake project area are interpreted
from previous aeromagnetics as primary Archean granitiod overlain with a
thin veneer of lower Aphebian metasediments. This interpretation is
supported by the results of the 1999 TEM (electromatgnetic) survey
conducted by Nordland Exploration, which has located anomalies in 4
locations on the Mann Lake claim block. The ground TEM anomalies are all
located in the interpreted zone of Aphebean veneer and potential thrust
faulting and interpretation suggests that the anomalies could represent
favorable targets for the exploration of unconformity uranium deposits.
The anomalies are considered to be from basement sources, likely
graphitic horizons. Further target definition geophysical surveys are
necessary prior to drill testing.

Abaddon has now established a line cut grid over the area of interest.
Abaddon has also contracted out a Gravity survey to be completed on the
grid and this geophysical program is to start immediately. The Company
is also planning to compete a UTEM (moving loop electromagnetic) survey
at this time. It is anticipated that the detailed surveys being
conducted will yield sufficient drill targets to warrant 2 to 3 diamond
drill holes as a first pass of exploration. These holes will be planned
for depths in the order of +700 metres.

Abaddon is awaiting results on the recently completed MegaTEM II
airborne survey on the Company's Kirsch/Huard Lake property situated
approx. 12 km to the northwest of Cameco's McArthur River Uranium Mine.
Abaddon's consultant geophysicist Phil Robertshaw, PGeo, is carrying out
this work. The Company plans to commence a follow-up groundwork program
on high priority targets.
