Consolidated American Launches Canadian Mortgage Lender

TAMPA, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 16, 2007 -- Consolidated American Industries Corporation (PINKSHEETS: CMDJ) today announced that it has taken a fifty percent (50%) founding interest in Manchester Financial Corporation, a federal Canadian corporation ("Manchester"). Manchester will utilize the expertise COAM has acquired through LoanWell Financial Corporation in the United States together with experienced Canadian partners to launch as a prime mortgage lender in the third quarter of 2007. Initial operations will be in Ontario, with expansion to sub-prime products and other Canadian provinces in 2008.
