Constitution Mining Completes Phase I Exploration at Cerro Amarillo Project, Mendoza Province, Argentina

TEMPE, AZ--(Marketwire - June 10, 2008) - Constitution Mining Corp. (OTCBB: CMIN) announces the completion of Phase I exploration on its 14,222 hectare Cerro Amarillo gold porphyry project in Mendoza, Argentina.

The objective of the initial campaign was to carry out detailed mapping and sampling and to identify trench and drill targets. A camp was established on the property and a team of geologists and technicians led by an international geological consultant completed the Phase I program within eight weeks.

The detailed mapping confirmed that the Cerro Amarillo occurrences contain a classical porphyry-style mineralized system that includes stockwork, disseminated, breccias, skarn, and vein-types of mineralization. These types of mineralization are zoned with a central porphyry plug containing abundant quartz-magentite vein stockworks together with disseminated chalcopyrite. This plug is surrounded by mineralized hydrothermal breccias with abundant pyrite that may result in an excellent supergene trap for leached copper and gold. Skarn mineralization occurs in almost a perfect ring at the intersection of the vertical cylinder of breccias and the shallow-dipping calcareous sedimentary sequence. At the current level of erosion, almost the entire ring is exposed. Sparse peripheral veins containing barite, hematite, galena, and sphalerite occur out to a radius of approximately one kilometer. The unique level of exposure of this system would allow the core stockwork-disseminated mineralization, the supergene breccias, and the skarns to be extracted in a single open-pit with a very low stripping ratio.

"We are extremely encouraged by the results of this work," commented Constitution Mining's CEO, Dr Willem Fuchter. "Not only has the mapping extended the zone of hydrothermal breccias, but the alteration patterns together with previously collected ground magnetic data suggest that there is potential for the system to enlarge with depth."

"A proposed Phase II exploration plan consisting of trenching and drilling of the porphyry targets, as well as additional exploration and prospecting of other areas of interest on the property, is scheduled to begin in the early fall, 2008," added Dr. Fuchter.
