Constitution Mining Expands Land Position at Atena Gold Project, Salta Province, Argentina

TEMPE, AZ--(Marketwire - March 19, 2008) - Constitution Mining Corp. (OTCBB: CMIN) announces that it has signed option agreements to acquire 100% of the mineral rights on three properties that significantly expand the size and scope of its Atena Gold Project in Salta Province, northwestern Argentina.

The properties, collectively known as Atena South, are the Esparta II, Amira Norte, and Amira.

Constitution Mining CEO Dr. Willem Fuchter commented, "Not only does this increase our land position in an exciting and rapidly developing mineral camp, but the 36 kilometers of vein structure we recently mapped and sampled during Phase 1 exploration at Atena North continues into this southern extension."

Atena North and Atena South are situated NNE of Taca Taca Bajo (see map). This deposit contains a resource of some 240 million tonnes grading 0.41% copper while drilling of the quartz-hematite veins directly north of the deposit returned results of 3.32g/t gold over 24 meters (including 17.49g/t gold over 2 meters). In comparison, the initial batch of composite samples from the Company's Phase I exploration program at Atena North returned values ranging up to 3.93 g/t gold, 934g/t silver, 2.4% copper, 3.23% lead, and 5.2% zinc (see February 20, 2008 release -- Constitution Mining Completes Phase 1 Exploration at Atena Gold Project).

The Company has commenced detailed mapping and sampling of the vein systems at Atena South. Meanwhile, Phase II exploration at Atena North is expected to commence shortly.
