Construction Begins on Ave Maria University Visitor Center

NAPLES, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 18, 2007 -- Professional Building Systems is pleased to announce the start of construction on Ave Maria University's Visitor Center. This center will usher the students into the Fall 2007 semester, as the first classes are held on the University's permanent campus. It will also be the gateway for potential students and the general public inquiring about Ave Maria University.

The Ave Maria University Visitor Center is located in Ave Maria's Town Center "La Piazza," which is comprised of seven buildings surrounding the Oratory. The Visitor Center will be prominently located in Avila, just south (to the right) of the Oratory and will take approximately half of the building's 11,500sft of retail space on the ground floor. Additional residential units are located on the second and third floors of Avila.

The office will house both the Visitor Center and the Admissions Office. Though the offices share some common space, there will be separate entrances and waiting areas. Cannon Design incorporated design elements from the main university, including a tile floor laid in a brick pattern, a floating wood ceiling and an indirect lighting system with special ceiling grid. Professional Building Systems will complete construction in just three months. The University's temporary student bookstore is slated to begin construction in May and will also be ready for the Fall Semester.

As the only Pre-qualified Tenant Improvement Contractor at Ave Maria, Professional Building Systems is expected to build out the remaining 200,000+ square feet of retail and office space in La Piazza. For more information, contact Cyndee Woolley (239-643-6527) or
