Consultants SYNQ Receives Funding From Government of Canada

CANTLEY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 6, 2011) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Consultants SYNQ has been granted $125,000 in repayable financial assistance.

"The Government of Canada is committed to supporting enterprises in the high-technology sector that, like Consultants SYNQ, are working hard to transform the results of their research and development into new products," said Minister Lebel.

Consultants SYNQ provides management consulting services on major construction projects. To better meet its clients' needs, the firm is in the process of developing a software solution called SynQ/5, which will serve for recording building project data, including that pertaining to subcontractors. The company also intends to use this assistance to apply for a patent and to commercialize its technology on the Canadian and U.S. markets. The project will necessitate an overall investment of $360,000.

This financial contribution has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program.
