Consumer Credit Counseling Service Celebrates 40th Anniversary With Event Featuring Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael Douglas and World-Renowned Speaker Tim Gard

Agency to Make Major Announcement During the Event

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - Jan 23, 2012) - Consumer Credit Counseling Service has been a prominent fixture of the Nevada assistance landscape for 40 years, helping Nevadans with an incredibly wide range of financial programs and services. Now the agency will mark its 40th anniversary with a celebratory breakfast for community leaders. Headlining the event are Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, Nevada Supreme Court Justice Michael Douglas, and world-renowned speaker and humorist Tim Gard. The agency will also make a major announcement during the event.

The event takes place Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. in the Stan Fulton Building on the UNLV Campus, at the corner of Flamingo and Swenson. Admission is by invitation only; credentialed media are extended an open invitation.

Consumer Credit Counseling Service's programs include bankruptcy counseling and education, debt management programs, down payment assistance programs, financial literacy programs, financial and housing counseling and free tax services.
