Contested Hearing Between RS and Ian Scott Douglas, a Trader with Dundee Securities Corp, on December 14, 2005

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 26, 2005) - Commencing at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2005, a contested hearing will be held at RS, 145 King Street West, 9th floor, Toronto to determine whether Ian Scott Douglas, a trader with Dundee Securities Corp., contravened the Universal Market Integrity Rules (UMIR). The hearing will be open to the public.

RS alleges that on 52 days between July 2003 and December 2003, Douglas engaged in a pattern of order entry in the pre-opening session of trading on the TSX which was inconsistent with just and equitable principles of trade, contrary to s. 2.1(1) of UMIR.
