Continental Gold Announces Death of Director Gary Barket

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 4, 2014) - Continental Gold Limited (TSX:CNL)(OTCQX:CGOOF) ("Continental") is saddened to announce that Mr. Gary P. Barket, a member of its Board of Directors, passed away on February 25, 2014. Mr. Barket had a distinguished career as a businessman and attorney; he practiced law in Little Rock, Arkansas for over 40 years, specializing in securities and business transactions and litigation. Mr. Barket was a key member of Continental's Board of Directors in its early years, serving from September 2007 to March 2010, and rejoined the Board in 2013. He was also a member of the Corporate Governance, Nominating and Compensation Committee.
