Continental Gold to Be Added to the S&P/TSX Global Mining and Global Gold Indices

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - September 12, 2016) - Continental Gold Inc. (TSX: CNL)(OTCQX: CGOOF) ("Continental" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it will be added to the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index and the S&P/TSX Global Gold Index, effective after the close of trading on September 16, 2016.

Both indices include some of the most liquid and largest gold mining companies by market capitalization listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange, and the inclusion of Continental should result in increased liquidity for investors.
