Continewity LLC Launches 'URGENT' Initiative to Promote Better Governance

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - Dec 5, 2011) - Governance, productivity and strategy advisory firm Continewity LLC is launching a new awareness campaign entitled URGENT: Understanding Risk & Governance in an Era of No Trust.

With URGENT, the firm seeks to provoke a productive dialogue about the role of ethics within organizations as it provides cost-effective solutions under the whistleblowing regulations of Dodd-Frank Section 922, otherwise known as Rule 21F of the SEC Act of 1934 & and Section 23 of the Commodities Exchange Act (CEA). These rules award whistleblowers who expose a possible violation of federal securities laws that "has occurred, is ongoing, or is about to occur," and encourage insiders to bring tips directly to the SEC or CFTC before wrongdoing can be covered up by the regulated firm committing it. To avoid excluding the needs of non-regulated organizations, Continewity's URGENT initiative also addresses privately-held firms, governmental entities, foundations, hospitals and higher education.
