Contractors Capable of Providing Duty-Free Bulk Fuel in Zimbabwe Sought

US Federal Contractor Registration Can Help Interested Bidders Prepare Bid, Complete SAM Registration

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - April 11, 2016) - The US Embassy Harare, Zimbabwe has issued a pre-solicitation to gauge interest in and/or ability of contractors to provide a supply of duty-free bulk fuel in Zimbabwe.

Interested contractors must:

  • Be able to continuously supply duty free bulk fuel
  • Have very wide coverage of service stations regionally and countrywide (i.e., large and medium size cities of Zimbabwe with Harare fuel pricing)
  • Have a re-fuel card/electronic web-based mechanism of fuel supply in place that involves the use of swipe cards at facilities countrywide and that have a capacity of monthly/ yearly reconciliation
  • Make up-to-the-moment fueling data available and accessible for analysis
  • Provide technical support to the US Embassy, which intends to upgrade its equipment and staff training facilities
  • Be able to maintain a satellite fueling station with seven tanks/pumps on a USG-leased property

The contract would be for one year, with four one-year option years.
