Converseon Wins Multiple Awards for Its Innovative Social Media Work in 2007

Awards in Word-of-Mouth Marketing, Virtual Worlds and Interactive Public Relations Help Demonstrate the Convergence of Marketing Disciplines Through Social Media

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - January 25, 2008) - Converseon, a leading social media marketing and communications agency, today announced that it has won several important social media awards for work conducted in 2007. The awards include:

-- A WOMMIE Award for Best Word of Mouth Marketing Campaign, presented by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA). The Award was presented to Converseon at the November 2007 Word of Mouth Marketing Summit in Las Vegas.

-- OMMA Award for "Best Use of Virtual Worlds." The OMMA Awards "honor the brand marketers, agencies and content providers who continue to push the potential of online advertising creative." Converseon had been nominated alongside Coca-Cola and Pontiac in this category and was presented the award in September 2007.

-- PR News Non Profit Award for best use of "Interactive PR and Marketing."

-- Society for New Communications Research Award for Excellence in the virtual worlds category.
