Convictions Under the Fisheries Act, Gaspe and Lower St. Lawrence


QUÉBEC CITY, QUÉBEC--(Marketwire - July 20, 2011) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has released a list of Gaspé and Lower St. Lawrence fishers fined in June 2011 for violations of the Fisheries Act.

The fines imposed on the offenders total $14,650. The offenders are:

Possession of egg-bearing female lobsters. $2,250
