QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 17, 2012) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, has released a list of fishers from the Magdalen Islands fined in October, 2012 for offences under the Fisheries Act.
The fines imposed on the fishers total $7,450. The offenders are:

| Alfred Poirier | Surf clam harvesting in a closed area. | $300 |
| Paul Vigneau | Being in possession of a female lobster with eggs attached. | $2,000 |
