Conway Chiropractor Welcomes Back Pain Patients to Wellness Open House

CONWAY, AR--(Marketwire - Mar 6, 2012) - Hurley Chiropractic and Wellness Center in Conway, AR held an open house on Thursday, March 1st, 2012. The open house served as an opportunity for prospective patients to visit the practice, meet the chiropractors and learn more about natural pain management and wellness care. Open house attendees enjoyed a free spinal scan, chair massages and entered to win door prizes, including a big screen television.

Conway chiropractor Dr. Christine Hurley announced that her practice, Hurley Chiropractic and Wellness Center, held an Open House on Thursday, March 1st. The Open House was open to all current patients and individuals interested in learning more about natural pain management, rehabilitation and wellness care.

"For individuals who are not familiar with our rehabilitation treatments, our open house was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the benefits of spinal adjustments," said Dr. Hurley. "When the body is out of alignment, patients are at risk for personal injuries, illness, fatigue and chronic back pain. Spinal adjustments help restore alignment to the body, and are an important foundation for long-term pain management."

Dr. Hurley and her wellness team, including Conway chiropractor Dr. Amanda Bledsoe, Dr. Mary Turner and Dr. Josi Owens, were on hand at the Open House to answer any questions that patients may have about wellness treatments, rehabilitation care and spinal adjustments. The wellness team also offered free spinal screenings.

"Many individuals complain about low-grade back pain or neck pain, but dismiss this pain as a natural part of aging," said Dr. Hurley. "While wear and tear over time can contribute to spinal misalignments, many patients are surprised to learn that their headaches or pain may be due to untreated personal injuries. Our spinal screenings help identify areas in the back that are in need of adjustment."

The Hurley wellness team also includes six massage therapists and three personal trainers, in addition to Zumba and Pilates instructors and many chiropractic assistants. Together, the team works to help patients achieve whole body wellness through complementary treatments.

"While chiropractic adjustments are an important part of our services, we offer a wide variety of wellness treatments that are tailored specifically for each patient's unique needs," said Dr. Hurley. "A patient recovering from an auto accident injury will need different care than a patient who is struggling with personal injuries or chronic pain. Our goal is to meet each of these unique needs while enhancing whole body wellness."

Individuals who attended the Open House had an opportunity to speak with the different wellness members and learn about natural pain management therapy, including acupuncture treatments and therapeutic massage.

Attendees also enjoyed a chair massage or entered to win door prizes, including a big screen TV.

"The Open House was a great success and opportunity to learn more about how to get healthy, get active and truly thrive," said Dr. Bledsoe.
