Cookie Jar Entertainment Names Jean-Michel Ciszewski Senior Vice-President International Sales and Co-Productions

PARIS, FRANCE--(CCNMatthews - March 22, 2006) -

Respected Sales Executive To Lead Cookie Jar Entertainment's Expanding Global Sales Operations

Industry-leading global producer-distributor of quality original children's programming Cookie Jar Entertainment has appointed respected international programming sales executive Jean-Michel Ciszewski as Senior Vice-President International Sales and Co-Productions. The announcement was made by Toper Taylor, President and Chief Operating Officer, Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc.

Ciszewski joins Cookie Jar Entertainment with an expansive distinguished career in international sales and programming. Prior to Cookie Jar Entertainment, Ciszewski served as President of MoviePlus sas, a film and television production, packaging and distribution company co-owned by Jean Chalopin (Inspector Gadget series and feature films, Care Bears). From 1993 to 1999, Ciszewski served in senior-level positions with Alliance Atlantis, beginning his long tenure with the company as Director of European Sales and culminating his association in 1998 as President of Alliance Atlantis Television Distribution. At the time Ciszewski joined Alliance, the company's international sales were $13 million - and grew to over $65 million during his final year. He earned his degree in Business and Administration from the University of Geneva where he was also honored with the Arthur Anderson Award.

Ciszewski joins Cookie Jar Entertainment at a time of extraordinary growth for the young company. Said Ciszewski: "Cookie Jar is a new company, but growing very fast - and the results are already evident. I have always enjoyed being part of a growing company where everyone is dedicated, motivated and driven - and look forward to helping Cookie Jar realize its tremendous potential."

Edutainment - a core area of Cookie Jar Entertainment's focus and commitment - represents another dimension attracting Ciszewski to the company. "Cookie Jar has worked hard to develop and fine-tune a philosophy for success in this burgeoning arena. The company is dedicated to providing content that can also help children become better people. Working together with our broadcasters and licensing partners, we are now part of the solution," says Ciszewski.

Establishing and nurturing successful co-productions represents another key objective for Ciszewski as he assumes his new role with Cookie Jar Entertainment. "Co-productions are not just about sharing costs, but sharing talent," he adds.

Said Taylor: "Cookie Jar Entertainment has grown rapidly in a hotly competitive environment as a result of our unique quality programming and our outstanding management and staff. We also listen carefully to broadcasters and strive to meet their objectives with children's television that makes a difference in their lives as well as entertains. Throughout his career, Jean-Michel Ciszewski has demonstrated the same commitment to broadcasters, to his fellow executives and to kids. We are extremely pleased to welcome Jean-Michel to Cookie Jar, one of the most ideal matches of company and executive talent I've had the pleasure to witness."

Ciszewski replaces Sam Ewing, who returns to Los Angeles to serve Cookie Jar Entertainment as Vice President Sales and Co-Productions, where he will be involved with sales and select co-production activity on behalf of the company.
