Cookin' Greens Launches "The Campaign for Dark Leafy Greens"

Tired of your frozen peas, corn and carrots?

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 12, 2009) - Cookin' Greens announced today that it will be hitting the streets of the GTA with its "Campaign For Dark Leafy Greens" this summer. The campaign's purpose is to raise awareness of the nutritional value and the high level of antioxidants that they provide and the importance of adding more dark leafy greens to their diet.

"According to ACNielsen and our own market research, consumers are more aware of the benefits of dark leafy greens than ever before. And because ours are flash frozen, they retain more of their beneficial nutrients than fresh vegetables as Cookin' Greens are packed within 6 hours of being picked" according to company president, Toby Davidson.

"The campaign will focus on 5 regions of the GTA in order to let consumers know where they can purchase Cookin' Greens from one of retailers near them. Cookin' Greens are The New Fast Food" continued Davidson.

The first two events in the "Campaign for Dark Leafy Greens" are focusing on the centre area of the GTA:

- Green Team Event #1 is on June 15th G. Ross Lord Park (between Bathurst & Steeles/ Dufferin & Steeles from 12:30 - 4:30pm.

- Green Team Event #2 is on June 17th - Cedarvale Ravine (between St. Clair W & Eglinton) 12:30 - 4:30pm

Come out and join us! Rally together to promote flash frozen dark leafy greens - The New Fast Food.
