Cooley Adds Leading Public Securities Practitioner to East Coast Team

RESTON, VA--(Marketwire - January 30, 2008) - Cooley Godward Kronish LLP announced today that
Brent B. Siler has joined the Firm as a partner in the Public Securities
practice group. Siler joins Cooley from WilmerHale in Washington, DC and
will be based in the Firm's Reston, VA office.

years, has one of the leading practices in the region, particularly in the

including the IPOs of Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Blackboard, SRA, OPNET
Technologies, Eclipsys Corporation, OTG Software, Career Builder, Proton
Energy and Edison Schools. Siler has also represented many major
investment banks in IPOs and other offerings.
Siler earned a JD, cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
