Everest Sciences' proprietary systems are engineered and manufactured as an integrated, packaged solution that combines inlet filtration and inlet cooling, designed to provide cooler, denser air, with lower parasitics than any competing system. Gas turbines lose performance as inlet air temperatures rise, most noticeably in the summer, when power can often be at its highest demand level. Various technologies can increase a turbine's output and efficiency by reducing the inlet air temperature. The Everest Sciences® solution takes inlet air cooling a step further, using proprietary indirect evaporative technology to provide the highest net power gain over alternative systems. Some of the systems offered, such as ECOCool, provide inlet air temperatures lower than conventional evaporative techniques, while consuming similar parasitic power loads, making it the most efficient water-based turbine inlet cooling system available. ECOChill is the first fully integrated chilling system with lower parasitic loads than conventional refrigeration techniques.
