Coombs Joins West Mountain Capital Corp. as Full-Time CFO

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Oct. 18, 2010) - West Mountain Capital Corp.(TSX VENTURE:WMT) announces that effective today, Paul Coombs, who has been acting as CFO on a part-time basis, has joined the management team full-time.

"Mr. Coombs has a Bachelor of Commerce degree, C.M.A, C.G.A and MBA with 15 years experience in both public and private companies and will be a tremendous asset to the WMT management team. He recently played a key role in the turnaround of Etruscan's gold mining operations and subsequent privatization of the company," said Antle "we are extremely pleased that he has decided to dedicate his full attention and time to the growth of WMT."

WMT has consistently improved its financial position over the past few years and is now poised for significant expansion in both domestic and foreign markets. Mr. Coombs appointment secures one of the key management positions necessary to drive our expansion strategy.

Mr. Coombs compensation plan includes a base salary combined with a performance-based bonus plan and inclusion in the Company's Stock Option Program. Upon signing the employment agreement Mr. Coombs was issued 200,000 stock options with a strike price of $0.35.
