Cooperative of American Physicians Launches CAPAdvantage Program

New practice management benefits to help CAP members drive growth, save money, and alleviate administrative hassles

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - September 22, 2016) - The Cooperative of American Physicians, Inc. (CAP) today announced the launch of CAPAdvantage, a new member practice management program aimed at easing the administrative load and challenges inherent to running a successful medical practice.

CAPAdvantage allows CAP physician members to leverage the purchasing power and size of the cooperative to take advantage of a number of free or favorably priced benefits, including but not limited to:

  • CAP Purchasing Alliance -- a free benefit that offers physician practices of all sizes a wealth of medical and office supplies at the same pricing as the nation's largest health systems.
  • Patient Experience Survey Program -- a specialty-specific online survey platform that allows physicians to harness and analyze patient feedback in order to provide optimum service and manage their reputation.
  • Medical Practice Financing -- financing options, offered via Bank of America Practice Solutions, provide CAP members with access to competitive rates on medical practice financing, business debt consolidation products, and more.
  • PatientPop Practice Growth Platform --designed to maximize practice growth and revenue, this low-cost, smart technology solution helps to ensure that patients can find a physician online, verify that the physician is professional and legitimate, and easily book appointments. It also enables physicians to offer expeditious and felicitous responses to patient reviews -- positive or negative.

CAPAdvantage also provides a number of best-in-class benefits pertaining to other key areas such as compliance, business phone and data systems, recruitment, revenue cycle management, and more.

"In today's regulatory and fiduciary environment, physicians face more pressing challenges than ever before," said Sean O'Brien, CAP's vice president of Membership Programs. "With that in mind, we designed our comprehensive CAPAdvantage offerings to provide them with maximum support and facilitate management of a profitable, optimized practice. CAPAdvantage complements our existing robust medical malpractice coverage and risk management offerings to promote increased success for our physician members."
