Copernican World Financial Infrastructure Trust Announces Reinstatement of Distribution

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 17, 2010) - Copernican World Financial Infrastructure Trust (TSX:CIW.UN) (the "Fund") today announced that it will be reinstating a cash distribution that will be paid quarterly in the amount of $0.05 per unit of the Fund. The distribution will be paid on January 13, 2011 to unitholders of record as of December 31, 2010.

In November, 2008, the Fund suspended monthly distributions on its trust units in order to protect the Fund's net asset value and to preserve its ability to rebuild and meet its investment objectives in the long-term.

A unitholder that has continually held units since inception will have received a total of $1.21 per unit as of payment date.
