Copper Reef Intersects 175 Ft Near Solid Sulphides Within 213 Ft of Mineralization

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 27, 2008) - Copper Reef Mining Corporation ("Company") (CNQ:CZCC) is pleased to announce, that in drilling hole MN-08-59, on the Copper Reef Deposit, on its Mink Narrows Property in Manitoba, it has intersected 175 feet (core length) of solid to near solid sulphides in the mineralized Copper Reef Horizon. The hole first encountered the mineralization at 494 ft. and left the mineralization at 726 ft., with an unmineralized section (19 ft.) of volcanic and intrusive rock from 646 to 665. The true width of the mineralized intercepts has generally been in the range of 50 to 75% of the core lengths, estimated from adjacent holes and the general dip of the body. In the case of MN-08-59 and hole MN-08-55 the body is thicker in this area but also may have changed its dip slightly. The large intersection in MN-08-59 is located vertically from the 425 ft. level extending to the 690 ft. level, 225 to 490 ft beneath drill-hole MN-00-37, which intersected 27 feet of 3.08% Copper, 0.13 Zinc, 11.19 g/t Silver. This hole was drilled 100 feet west of MN-08-55 which intersected 92 feet of mineralized Copper Reef Horizon, including 32.5 feet of near solid sulphides as reported in Copper Reef's March 17, 2008 Press Release.

Holes MN-08-55 and 59 have tested the upper portion of a sparsely drilled target area with dimensions of 1000 feet by 700 feet. This area lies below the best grades intersected to date and above a very large off-hole Down Hole Pulse Electromagnetic (DPEM Large DPEM Anomaly). The main target area remains further east and at the 1000 foot level. Copper Reef intends to drill this anomaly shortly.

Photos of Drill holes MN-00-37, MN-08-46, MN 08-55 and this New Hole MN-08-59 (3 photos) can be seen on Copper Reef's Website under NEWS/Photos, as well as a sawn portion of MN-00-38 which assayed 4.17 % copper over 13.7 ft. The sulphide mineralization consists mainly of pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite (a copper mineral) with minor sphalerite (a zinc bearing mineral) content.
