Copper Reef Intersects 92.3 Ft of Mineralization at Depth

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 19, 2008) - Copper Reef Mining Corporation ("Company") (CNQ:CZCC) is pleased to announce that in drilling its first deep hole on the Copper Reef Deposit, on its Mink Narrows Property in Manitoba, it has intersected 92.3 feet (core length) of the mineralized Copper Reef Horizon in Drill Hole MN-08-55. This includes 35.5 feet of near solid sulphides and 56.8 feet of stringer mineralization. The true width of the mineralization is estimated to be 60-65% of core length. This hole intersected at the 740 ft level, 540 ft beneath drill-hole MN-08-46, which intersected 33.5 feet of near solid sulphides. MN-08-55 is just to the east of drill-hole MN-00-37 which intersected 27 feet of 3.08% Copper, 0.13 Zinc, 11.19 g/t Silver but 500 feet deeper. This hole was drilled in an area of no previous drilling towards a very large off-hole Down Hole Pulse Electromagnetic (DPEM Large DPEM Anomaly). The main target area remains further east and at the 1000 foot level.

Photos of Drill holes MN-00-37, MN-08-46, MN 08-55 can be seen on Copper Reef's Website under NEWS/Photos, as well as a sawn portion of MN-00-38 which assayed 4.17 % copper over 13.7 ft. Sulphide mineralization consist mainly of pyrite pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite (copper mineral) and minor sphalerite (a zinc bearing mineral).

Copper Reef is currently in the midst of deeper drilling down dip below the above holes in an area with dimensions of 1000 feet by 700 feet at the 900 to 1300 foot levels which is untested. This area lies below the best grades intersected to date and best deep geophysical targets.

The Company is a Canadian junior mineral exploration company currently focused on discovery of new zones and further expansion of known resources on its mineral properties in Northwest Manitoba and Northeast Saskatchewan, Canada.
