Cora Launches its Annual Fundraising Campaign to Benefit Breakfast Club of Canada

STE-THÉRÈSE, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - May 1, 2015) - From May 4th to July 5th, 2015, Cora Franchise Group, Inc., Canada's breakfast leader, will be holding, for a 7th year, its annual fundraising: One More Ingredient to Help Them Succeed. During this period, every guest that visits a Cora restaurant across Canada to enjoy one of our tasty meals will have the option to buy a sun at a $1 cost.

All money raised during the sun sale will benefit Breakfast Club of Canada, an organization that has been working tirelessly for 20 years to give all kids, from coast to coast, an equal chance at success. Currently, some 152,000 students start their school day with a wholesome breakfast in a warm and welcoming environment because of the Club.

The Foundation supports and works in collaboration with non-profit organizations trying to improve the quality of life for Canadian children. The Foundation is financed through the profits generated by fundraising events as well as through special events created by employees and the owners of the more than 130 franchised restaurants across Canada. Over the last years, the Foundation has been working very closely with Breakfast Club of Canada to help provide support and food to children across the country.

With over 130 locations across Canada, Cora is now the largest sit down breakfast operation in Canada and the chain's growth will continue, as many more openings are scheduled for the months to come. Cora Breakfast and Lunch offers customers quality food and service in a warm family atmosphere.

About Breakfast Club of Canada

For 20 years, Breakfast Club of Canada has been nourishing children's potential by making sure as many of them as possible have access to a healthy morning meal before school, in an environment that allows their self-esteem to grow and flourish. But the Club is much more than a breakfast program: we take a broader approach that promotes the core values of engagement, enrichment and empowerment, and we team up with communities and local partners to develop solutions adapted to their specific needs. Operating from coast to coast, the Breakfast Club of Canada helps feed 152,000 students every day in 1,328 schools. More details at www.breakfastclubcanada.org.
