Cordy Announces Election of Board of Directors

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 18, 2011) - Cordy Oilfield Services Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CKK) (the "Corporation" or "Cordy") is pleased to announce that David Mullen (Chairman and Chief Executive Officer), Allen Cameron (President), Robert N. Waddell, David E. Olson and Timothy H. Urquhart were elected as directors at the Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on August 17, 2011. Keith Macdonald did not stand for re-election at the Shareholders' Meeting. David Mullen, Chairman of the Board commented "the Board would like to thank Mr. Macdonald for his dedication and service to the Corporation over the past years. Mr. Macdonald has served the shareholders exceptionally well and the Board wishes him every success in his future endeavours".

Among other matters approved at the Shareholders' Meeting, the Shareholders passed a special resolution approving the reduction of the accounting stated capital of the common shares of the Corporation by the amount of the consolidated accumulated accounting as at September 30, 2011. This will reduction will be credited against the Corporation's consolidated accumulated accounting deficit as at September 30, 2011.
