CORE ECS Wins PG&E Awards for Helping Schools Lower Energy Bill With Dell KACE

CORE ECS Sales Executive Finds Way for Schools to Increase Their Efficiency and Reduce Their Expenses, Picks up Award for Outstanding Accomplishment

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Jun 26, 2012) -  CORE Education and Consulting Solutions, Inc., an end-to-end education-focused, technology-enabled solutions provider, today announced it has picked up two awards from the PG&E Trade Professional Alliance for providing schools with cost- and energy-saving opportunities that directly affect the bottom line.

The awards are merited by kWh Savings and Total kW savings for schools, categories that collect numerous nominations every year. By implementing Dell KACE Systems Management Appliances and utilizing the PG&E Network Computer Management rebate program, clients of CORE ECS are able to leverage computer power management policies that help immediately reduce their monthly energy bill.

Statistics show that on-going energy savings can reach $50 per computer, per year. PG&E customers also receive a $15 per desktop rebate which helps lower the overall net cost of the Dell KACE solution.

"As schools are being squeezed because of the lack of revenue they are receiving in the current economic climate, implementing DELL KACE provides a terrific opportunity to tap into incentives that help mitigate their expenses. To accelerate the roll-out and raise awareness, CORE ECS are educating IT staff about the cost saving opportunity and introducing them to their designated PG&E account manager," says Paul Sprayberry, President of CORE ECS.

The cost- and energy-saving program was made possible by Chris Macias, a Regional Account Executive at CORE ECS. With over 10 years in IT and a laser focus on client centric solutions that directly impact the bottom line, Chris remains dedicated to helping schools understand the process so they can receive their rebate check as soon as possible.

"We are delighted to partner with CORE ECS so that schools can benefit from a significant cost savings opportunity and take advantage of the PG&E Network Computer Management rebate program," said Ken Drachnik, director of product marketing for Dell KACE. "Many of our customers in the education sector have leveraged our systems management technology to reduce PC energy usage. KACE is also approved for energy rebates in all 50 states which further helps our customers drive green agendas."
