Coremetrics Reports Record Revenue and Growth in Enterprise Customers for 2009

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - February 9, 2010) - Coremetrics, the leader in marketing optimization, today announced that it has achieved record revenue for the fiscal year ending on December 31, 2009. Revenue in 2009 from Coremetrics web analytics and marketing applications grew by 20 percent over 2008.

Coremetrics has experienced a surge in demand for its analytics and online marketing solutions and has brought numerous new enterprise clients on board. Companies that chose Coremetrics in 2009 include Adidas AG, Arkadium, Barnes & Noble, Inc., Eckler Industries, Follett Higher Education Group, Godiva Chocolatier, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc., HarperCollins Publishers, Telecharge.com, TicketCity, and Virgin Atlantic Airways. Furthermore, according to The Internet Retailer Top 500, the definitive ranking of America's largest online retailers, 13 out of the top 25 Internet Retailer 500 companies work with Coremetrics to optimize their marketing campaigns. This means that more of the top 25 retailers work with Coremetrics than with all other vendors combined.

"The Coremetrics team delivered a very strong year thanks to increased demand for sophisticated applications that take the guesswork out of online marketing," said Joe Davis, CEO, Coremetrics. "We're hearing from customers globally that online represents the most critical part of their businesses. For long-term growth and viability, they need a partner who not only understands online marketing today, but is setting the bar for what it will deliver in the future. Coremetrics is the clear choice for any company looking for leadership, vision, consistent execution and exceptional service and support."

Additional highlights in 2009 include:

-- The launch of Coremetrics Impression Attribution™, the first solution to analyze the value of online marketing campaigns that occur outside a company's website. Impression Attribution effectively connects online behavior to the many marketing campaigns people are exposed to across the Web, even if that exposure includes un-clicked campaigns.

-- The launch of the Coremetrics Continuous Optimization Platform, a unique system that addresses the need to more successfully convert and retain customers online. At the heart of the platform is Coremetrics' exclusive Lifetime Individual Visitor Experience (LIVE) Profile™, which tracks a customer's browsing behavior over the long term, including offline information, not just the first or last click. The Continuous Optimization Platform makes any online marketing program far simpler to execute and easier to understand by defining an intuitive, three-step methodology to any marketing cycle: Anticipate, Automate and Syndicate. All Coremetrics applications are designed to support this methodology and complement each step.

-- The launch of Coremetrics AdTarget™, an industry-leading data syndication platform and online marketing application. The solution enables businesses to easily syndicate information about website visitors to ad solution providers, who can begin serving personalized display ads almost instantaneously. AdTarget partners include AudienceScience, ChoiceStream, Criteo, Dotomi, FetchBack, OpenX, Red Aril, ValueClick, Inc., and [X+1], with more than 150 customers in the first six months of launch.

-- In July 2009, Forrester Research, Inc. recognized Coremetrics as a Web Analytics "Leader" in The Forrester Wave™: Web Analytics, Q3 2009 report (July 2009). Coremetrics received the highest score for "Strategy," a section of the report designed to ascertain a vendor's propensity for future success. In addition, the company was cited as ranking highest in "Reference Client Strength." Coremetrics also scored well for "Integration" (5.0 out of 5.0) and "Metrics, Dimensions, and Correlations" (4.65 out of 5.0).

-- Coremetrics was also named a finalist for a Fall 2009 STAR Award for Service Excellence from the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the services industry's largest and most vibrant association. Since its inception in 1990, the prestigious STAR Awards recognize technology companies who display exceptional leadership, innovation, and commitment in service excellence.
