TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 21, 2006) - Coretec Inc. (TSX:CYY) today announced that it has been presented with the 2006 Pollution Prevention Award from The Canadian Association of Metal Finishers (CAMF). This prestigious award recognizes Coretec's ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and leadership. Over the past five years the Company has been successful in its goal to reduce the amount of solid waste destined for landfills by greater than 85% through an aggressive recycling and re-use program. The Company was also recognized for its efforts in several other areas, namely water recycling initiatives, internal copper recovery and odour abatement. The Company credits much of its success to the sharing of best practices with its co-members in CAMF and supply partners.
