Corex Announces Positive Trenching Results on Caliche Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2007) - Corex Gold Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CGE) is pleased to announce trenching results from its ongoing exploration program at the Caliche Property, Sonora, Mexico. These 6 trenches are located on various zones throughout the Property.

The trenches are excavated to depths of 1 to 2 meters and are designed to crosscut gold and silver mineralized zones at near right angles. The trenches, cut through thin overburden, are then mapped and channel sampled on 2 metre intervals. Trench results and mapping will aid in drill hole target design. The trench assays compare favourably with the rock chip and channel sample results from previous sampling.

Trench assays are reported as follows:

Cabeza Blanca Area

TCA-07 - Footwall zone, 22 metres @ 0.374 g/t Au, true width approximately 10 metres, Cabeza Blanca structure, 16 metres @ 0.910 g/t Au, true width approximately 10 metres, hanging wall stockwork zone, 24 metres @ 0.184 g/t Au, true width approximately 18 metres.

TCA-08 - Guadalupe structure, located in footwall of Cabeza Blanca, 8 metres @ 0.456 g/t Au, near true width.

Los Japoneses Area

TCA-01 - Japoneses structure, 18 metres @ 0.75 g/t Au, true width approximately 18 metres, Japoneses hanging wall splay, 30 metres @ 0.487 g/t Au, true width approximately 20 metres.

TCA-03 - Los Cuervos structure, 10 metres @ 0.558 g/t Au, near true width, east Los Cuervos structure, 18 metres @ 0.412 g/t Au, true width approximately 12 metres.

Las Abejas Area

TCA-02 - Hanging wall Las Abejas structure, 68 metres @ 0.578 g/t Au, near true width, includes 26 metres @ 1.004 g/t Au, true width approximately 22 metres, hanging wall structure 6 metres @ 0.913 g/t Au, near true width.

TCA-04 - Hanging wall Las Abejas structure, 22 metres @ 0.447 g/t Au, near true width.

The Caliche Property exploration program is continuing with drilling underway and additional trenching, mapping and sampling. Corex currently has 7 geologists onsite, 2 bull dozers and a reverse circulation drill rig.
