Cornerstone and Thundermin File Technical Report on Little Deer Mineral Resources

MOUNT PEARL, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwire - Aug. 21, 2009) - Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. ("Cornerstone") (TSX VENTURE:CGP)(FRANKFURT:GWN)(BERLIN:GWN) (PINK SHEETS:CTNXF) and 50% joint venture partner Thundermin Resources Inc. ("Thundermin") (TSX:THR) announce that a National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") Technical Report, to support the mineral resource estimate for the Little Deer Copper Deposit ("Deposit") that was disclosed on July 7, 2009, has been filed on SEDAR and posted on each company's respective website.

The Mineral Resource Estimate and the Technical Report entitled "Technical Report on the Initial Mineral Resource Estimate for the Little Deer Copper Deposit, Newfoundland, Canada, August 14, 2009" were prepared by Mr. Reno Pressacco, M.Sc.(A), P.Geo., Senior Geologist with Micon International Limited ("Micon") of Toronto, Ontario and an independent Qualified Person ("QP") in accordance with NI 43-101.

As reported on July 7, 2009, Micon estimated that the Deposit contains indicated mineral resources of 1,087,000 tonnes at an average grade of 2.9% Cu and inferred mineral resources of 1,950,000 tonnes at an average grade of 2.3% Cu.

A $900,000 diamond drilling program, announced on February 25, 2009 for the first half of 2009, was completed at the end of July 2009. Four holes from this program, that were not included in the mineral resource estimate, have been completed and the results for these holes will be announced once all of the assay data has been received and analyzed.
