Corporate Accreditation Boost for Nationwide Law Firm

LIVERPOOL, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - May 9, 2011) - Leading nationwide law firm David Phillips & Partners has today been confirmed as a corporate accredited practice with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers ('Apil') as five of its solicitors are also awarded 'Senior Litigator' status.

Apil is a not-for-profit campaign organisation, comprising of 4,700 member lawyers. It is a leading and well respected organisation whose members are committed to providing the very best service to accident victims by ensuring full and just compensation, campaigning for improvements in personal injury law, and developing legal expertise, among other things.

Only solicitors' firms who pass stringent criteria are invited to apply for corporate accreditation. Apil independently assess firms, systems, and lawyers to decide if they are suitable. Eligible lawyers must attend dedicated training, sign legal undertakings and commit to doing their very best for accident victims.

Stephen Higham, a solicitor and partner in the firm, explains that, 'receiving accredited firm status is a proud moment for all of us within the practice. The application process was strict as Apil insist on exceptionally high standards of client care, legal ability and supervision.'

He continues, "to apply for corporate accreditation it was necessary for us to have at least one solicitor in the firm with 'Senior Litigator' status, an independent ranking from Apil awarded to some of the best and most experienced personal injury lawyers in the country. Fortunately, our longstanding commitment to our clients meant that no fewer than five of us qualified as 'Senior Litigators', a remarkably high number which emphasizes the quality of personal injury solicitor we have here at David Phillips & Partners."

The firm's Senior Litigators, Iain Gould, Stephen Higham, John Hagan, Bernard Morron and Charlotte Quinn have over 80 years' experience of dealing with serious personal injury cases between them, meaning that their clients receive the very best legal advice and assistance. Coupled with a strong commitment to client service, it is no wonder that they have helped thousands of people recover millions of pounds over the years.

But, as partner and solicitor John Hagan points out, "this is just the beginning. While we are honoured to have our work as senior accident claim solicitors recognised, we remain humble and are as enthusiastic as ever to continue working in our clients' best interests."
