Corporate Incentive Travel Company Launches First Meeting Management Program in Asia

Peak Performance, a meeting planning company brings corporate meeting planning to Phuket Thailand to help diversify its meeting management services

NEW HOPE, PENNSYLVANIA--(Marketwire - June 17, 2008) - Peak Performance Incentive Travel and Meetings Planning Services is pleased to announce the success of its first Asia meeting.

Phuket, Thailand. We have successfully brought our meeting management services to our first Asian program in Phuket Thailand. Our client's four-day program offered a magnificent meeting environment for the conference attendees at the JW Marriott Phuket Resort and Spa. Although not located in the heart of the island nightlife city of Patong or historic Phuket Town, we chose the JW Marriott for its proximity to the airport, open-air lobby housing a magnificent reflecting pool where a Thai fire performance is scheduled every afternoon (rain or shine!) and meeting and breakout space configurations that fully accommodated the specifics of our group program objective.

The success of this site choice was led by the efforts of our site selection process team. With each program our team applies an extensive analysis of a site's ability to support a group's corporate incentive travel or meeting goal, attendee cultural profile, and the attendee logistical air and ground transport needs. Peak Performance Meetings takes pride in its personal service from concept to completion of a program. Choosing the right environment in support of the meeting content and combining it with local color, tour activities and special dinner events transformed what might have been a one-time event into an annual conference occurrence by popular demand of its attendees and senior management.

With the majority of the group meeting one another for the fist time, it was important to create the right blend of free time and focused meeting time. During Peak's meeting planning process the focus was to create a meeting icebreaker to open communication while insuring the attendees left the meeting motivated, informed and excited to participate again and make it an annual conference. From tour activities such as snorkeling, golf, and an All-Tourain Vehicle (ATV) team competition outing to a Royal Thai Cuisine special event experience at the famous Baan Rim Pa where guests experienced dishes formerly found only in the Grand Palace of Thailand, Peak Performance Meeting Planning Services was able to create the right balance that created a memorable experience and strengthened employee relationships. Based on the post program survey that Peak sends out for all its programs, the meeting was a total success, will now be an annual event and we are researching other Asian destinations for next year.
