Corporate Update: ICTV Confirms Fountain of Youth Strategy

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, WASHINGTON--(CCNMatthews - Oct. 5, 2005) - International Commercial Television, Inc. (OTCBB:ICTL) ("ICTV" or "The Company"), a premier, full-service international retail and direct response television (DRTV) marketing company targeting the multi-billion dollar health and beauty category, is pleased to provide this Corporate Development Update to its shareholders. During 2005, ICTV has moved forward with a number of marketing initiatives that resulted in increased sales and the achievement of three consecutive quarters of profitability.


ICTV's "Fountain of Youth" anchor product, the Derma Wand, has obtained increased market acceptance through the limited broadcasting of its infomercial internationally and live home shopping broadcasts in Canada and the UK. Due the velocity of sale exhibited in these distribution channels ICTV has entered into a definitive agreement with The Thane Direct Company (Thane) in which Thane will distribute the Derma Wand and associated products into 40 countries mainly in the Middle East, Latin and South America. Kelvin Claney CEO of ICTV states "I am thrilled to have Thane as a marketing partner as they have a powerful presence in the markets covered in the agreement. Thane has many forms of distribution including direct response TV, home shopping networks, catalogs, retail and the internet This alliance established with Thane will enable ICTV to now focus on key markets such as the US, Japan, the major European countries and South East Asia." The Company has already shipped and received payment for product as per the terms of the agreement.

With regards to the US market, the Company has received notification from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) "That the Derma Wand is a device defined in section 201(h) of the Act" and will allow the Company to sell the Derma Wand as a cosmetic and relaxtion device to the US consumer. Along with agreements reached with inbound/outbound telemarketing and fulfillment companies ICTV is now in a position to begin selling on a continuing basis the Derma Wand and associated products in the US DRTV and retail markets.

The Derma Wand is highly effective in-home skin care appliance that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and assists to cosmetically improve skin appearance.



ICTV has developed an extraordinary and highly effective, three step acne fighting system that controls blemishes and breakouts without the "dry-out" properties common to most acne treatments. CLEARx contains all natural ingredients. The Company will be debuting the CLEARx branded products in its Derma Wand infomercial which is being readied for broadcast in the US television markets.


ICTV's "Fountain of Youth" skin care range features the U.S. patented DermaVital® Hydra Infusion Treatment, which is a system specifically formulated to allow water to penetrate the skin's surface and re-hydrate the deeper layers. The DermaVital product line will effectively diminish dryness, fine lines, enlarged pores and other signs of premature aging. The Company will be introducing the DermaVital line in its Derma Wand infomercial campaign.

The Company also wishes to announce the resignation of Patrick Lavin as Chief Financial Officer and the appointed of Karl Redekopp to the position.
